Art Center Quilt

Location: 127 College St, Mountain City, TN 37683. on North West wall facing Mulburry St.

This quilt adorns the otherwise blank back wall of the Arts Center. When I took this picture, I had assumed it was a painting. However, I now see the brackets and suspect that it may be an actual quilt. I am unsure of the specific meaning of this quilt, however quilts in general have a special significance to anyone who has grown up in rural America, often invoking feelings of comfort, community, and tradition.
